Mandy Musgrave

Amanda Marie Musgrace was born Orlando, Florida on September 19th, 1986 with her twin sister Jamie.  The two were second to there eldest sister Brianna as the Musgrave family was happy to have three lovely daughters.  Amanda Marie, or Mandy, was brought up in Orlando under the sweet Florida sun where she spent some early childhood years acting, but quickly lost interest in it and quit at a young age.  The early years did not show the future success that she could have as an actress, but not everyone has to start young.  As she grew older a love of acting slowly began to grow within her and it really blossomed into a full passion of hers in high school.  As here love of acting increased more and more each day it became a little clearer that her childhood annoyance would now become a full blown part of her life.  Upon her graduation of high school in 2004 she left her Florida home for a chance to make it big in Hollywood.  There are so many out there that say that this will never make anything of anyone, but there are those talented and driven enough to make it it the big leagues of acting. 

Even with those telling her that she would never make it and that she was crazy for even trying she was determined to not let that stop her.  There is a little fire called desire that burns strongly within herself and she was not going to be stopped as she knew exactly what she wanted and would not let anything or anyone get in her way.  Some cheered her on and gave well wishes while others warned of the dangers and stupidity in leaving everything for the glamorous life in tinsel town.  She arrived in Hollywood and was ready to take on all that awaited her.  Life was not going to be easy, but she was ready and willing to take on the big town with a full head of steam and charge right on into the movies and television sets.

It was not long before Mandy Musgrave had made an impact and a very good impression on casting calls and producers all over town.  Mandy soon found herself making guest appearances on a variety of television shows.  Within her first year out in Hollywood she had managed to book several roles and was getting her face seen on televisions all around the country.  With spots on Malcom In The Middle, CSI, and The King Of Queens she was finding some fame and gaining some stardom.  It was not to long before she was a recognizable face on the strip and not just another face in the crowed.  They say it only takes on break, but Many got hers and has pushed her way to some of the front auditions in the town. 

Not too long after making several guest appearances she was well on her way to landing some recurring roles.  Her really big break came when she landed a role on day time sitcom hit Days of Our Lives as she was on the show from 2004-2005.  After her role on the sitcom got her more time in the spotlight she was selected to be The N's star on South Of Nowhere.  She starred as a troubled teen who is struggling to find out just who she is on the outside while dealing with issues of under age drinking, drug use and abuse, sexuality, bisexuality, and many more pressing issues.  The show was a hit as it pushed the envelopes of dramatic televisions especially when it came to looking at the lives of some of our nation's youth.  She became an idol for troubled youth all over the nation as they garnished power and strength from Mandy's dramatic roles.  The show ran from 2005 all the way until 2008 when it was finally ended.  Mandy Musgave played a lot of important roles for young girls and established herself in the spotlight.

Mandy has never shied away from a role just because of it may have some edgy topics as she has never been afraid to cross gender borders and take a role that shows her as a strong lesbian figure.  She has been a great beacon for the gay and lesbian movement as she has done a lot to push the boundaries.  She herself is not a lesbian as she has fallen in love and become engaged to fellow South Of Nowhere star Matt Cohen.  She has also developed some of her closest friendships on that show where she has tried to work on more projects with fellow cast members and friends.

She has moved on since South Of Nowhere to take roles in other television shows, movies, and web shows.  She has worked with several smaller shows where she has made guest appearances and even had a recurring role in 90210 for some time.  She has been involved with several web series including Girltrash!, 3Way, Dan's Detour of Life, and Cowgirl Up.  Her work on Girltrash! and South Of Nowhere have else spawned a small music career for the actress who hopes to continue making more music in the future.  She has been featured on tracks for both the shows and is working on a Girltrash! movie.  Mandy Musgave was always a big fan of art and has spend a lot of time working on paintings and even sold some of her work online for some time.  Her online art shop has since closed down, but she still enjoys the arts and painting.  For more information on Mandy Musgrave feel free to check out these sites here, here, or here and see what other information you can dig up on this wonderful actress.
